Marco did an excellent job of scouting and providing all the necessary equipment and expertise for my late season rifle elk hunt in unit 8. The weather, unfortunately busted our hunt when it snowed a foot on opening day and another foot the next day. Then the rains came and flooded access to critical locations. However, Marco was persistent and determined to get us every minute of hunting time available. His equipment operated flawlessly and was very comfortable. He didn’t even panic when the wind blew over my porta john. I really appreciated everything he did to make it a most memorable experience. He provided a camp trailer that kept me warm and comfortable, provided all the cooking, snacks and drinks, and shared his vast knowledge of hunting and of the game we were hunting. Even though I brought my own rifle, I chose to carry his as it was more suited for the terrain we were hunting in. My definition of a successful hunt would one in which we saw elk and had at least one opportunity to take a shot. Aside from not seeing any elk that we could move on, the hunting experience itself was amazing. Marco was very accommodating in every aspect and I would highly recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a hunting adventure of a lifetime.
