REFERENCE COMMENTS
We hunted hard in some challenging weather conditions. Dave, my guide with Bars Hunting Service, was knowledgeable of the hunting area and very savvy of elk. On the fourth day of our hunt, Dave tracked our bull in the snow for about a 1/2 mile. I had an easy 100 yard shot across a canyon. Dave turned out to be quite the elk wrangler + packer, as he had to carry our prize up out of the canyon. I couldn’t have been more pleased with a hunting experience.
